In this release
Attach server logs, build output and merged reports to a CI run, and find every file of the run on its new Attachments tab.
Add one URL to your MCP client, authorize in the browser, and your agent can use Currents tools. No API key to paste, no package to install.
Replace the one organization key your whole team shares with API tokens that name their owner, carry only the permissions they need, and always expire.
Turn any Playwright failure in Currents into a link. Open it for a readable page, or add .md and your agent fetches the whole failure context with no Currents login.
The images are 2026-10-14-001, shipped as Docker Compose release on-prem/2026-10-14-001 and Helm chart 1.0.0.
Before you upgrade
- The SAML SSO sign-in URL changes. If your users sign in through SAML, set your identity provider's ACS URL to
<your Currents URL>/api/auth/sso/saml2/sp/acs/<provider id>when you upgrade. Until then SSO sign-in fails; the root admin's email and password still work. - Context sharing needs a second bucket. Shares, organization logos and session files go to an app content bucket. Create it before you upgrade.
- The first start runs database migrations. They took under a minute for 100,000 runs in testing, and Currents keeps working while they run.
The steps for each install:
- Docker Compose: the
2026-10-14-001changelog - Helm: Upgrading to Chart 1.0
Also in this release
- Remote MCP and the OAuth provider are on by default after the upgrade, and each has a setting to turn it off.
- The bundled RustFS can delete artifacts after a number of days you choose.
- The sign-in rate limits can be raised for a large team behind one address.
