Playwright 1.60.0 Release Updates
Version 1.60.0 of Playwright has been released on May 11, 2026 and introduced a few compatibility issues with Currents. In order to use newer versions of Playwright (>= 1.60.x) update to the new v2 of the Currents Playwright reporter (`npm install @currents/playwright@latest`).
We have released a new v2 of the Currents Reporter for Playwright to restore compatibility. Update to the new version (npm install @currents/playwright@latest).
There are breaking changes for users of our Orchestration feature (pwc-p). Follow the migration guide.
If you don't use pwc-p to run your tests, you can simply update the Currents Playwright reporter version.

- We have released version 2.0.0.
npm install @currents/playwright@2.0.0. For users of orchestration there are breaking changes, and you need to update your CI to use the new subcommand format. Follow the migration guide.

npm install @currents/playwright@2.0.0-beta.3.

- We have released a beta version of Currents that restires the compatibility with Playwright 1.60.0
npm install @currents/playwright@beta. We are still testing it with our customers and will release a stable version shortly.

- Version 1.60.0 of Playwright introduced a few compatibility issues that temporary broke integration with Currents. Specifically, a couple of internal configuration items that were used by Currents were removed.
- We have identified the issues and have been working on restoring full compatibility. We will release a new version of Currents that will restore compatibility with Playwright 1.60.0 shortly.
